The entire class was extremely helpful! It was one of the best and most informative and appropriate classes I have attended! Thank you! I felt supported by hearing the challenges other families shared during the group discussion. I really like the handouts and the references, especially "What is Dementia? “and "..10 Signs of Caregiver Stress." The class did a very good job of explaining this very complicated disease that is not just a matter of memory loss. The tips and suggestions to try during care are very helpful. I changed some of my approaches to my sister with positive results.

I would recommend this series to others to gain insights from professionals and from other people who are going through similar experiences.

The 5-week series helped me to understand the disease of dementia. Also, it was very informative on how to caretake in a way beneficial to me and the person I cared for. I am more patient and am taking time for self-care. I would say it (the series) was helpful in so many ways and shared experiences was most appreciated.
